Taigi tęsdama savo kepinių su nacionaline simbolika tradiciją, šiandien sveikinu visus su Lietuvos nepriklausomybės atkūrimo diena. Mes jėga! Jau 26 metus esame laisvi. Vertinkime tai, didžiuokimės tuo, saugokime šia laisvę, dirbkime ir kurkime jai, švęskime ją!

Hello,

Today is Lithuanian independence restoration day and I want to congratulate all my friends and all Lithuanians. I'm very proud of living in a free country and I invite you to take care of our freedom and never forget how did we get it. 

For this occasion to continue the tradition of baking some goods with national symbols I made this tricolour funfetti cake. 

Enjoy and celebrate the freedom!

Šis įrašas labai trumpas. Ir be recepto. Tiesiog noriu pasveikinti visus lietuvius visame pasaulyje su Mūsų nuostabios šalies gimtadieniu. Mylėkime, gerbkime, puoselėkime savo šalį. Dirbikme ir kurkime Jai! Su gimtadieniu ir ilgiausių metų ilgiausių!

Na dar pasigirsiu  šįryt keptų sausainių nuotraukomis. Jau trečius metus Vasario 16-osios proga gaminu ką nors su Gediminaičių stulpais. Kaip Jums? Man tai jie tokie didvyriškai estetiški... Gediminaičių stulpų pjoviklį man išlankstė Vilnius. Juo ryte pjaustėm duoną sumuštiniams ir blynus. Turiu naują žaisliuką.

This entry is short and without recipe. I just want to congratulate all Lithuanians around the world with our country's birthday. I want to wish for all of us to love and respect our beautiful homeland, to work and create for it and never forget where we are come from. Happy Birthday Lithuania!!!

And of course I want to show you my new pictures that I took this morning. I baked sugar cookies and cut it with "Columns of Gediminas" shape cutter. For the third year on February 16th I'm baking something with that motive. It is some kind of challenge to create something new.
